When choosing a UPS, you should consider the lifespan of your UPS batteries. Because it is usually shorter than your UPS and you should replace the battery on time to avoid UPS failure.
UPS batteries (traditional sealed lead-acid batteries) tend to have either a 5-year or 10-year design life. Some may last for 10-15 years. Yet performance will significantly reduce over time to a degree where it is not safe to use in a UPS system. So you should figure out its service life instead of design life.
