Description

PCI-E Black 8 pin to 2 x Molex Power Converter Cable – Graphics Card Adapter Power Cable to older power supplies Cable used to convert older generation power supplies for newer graphics cards. This cable converts 2 x 4-pin Molex connections into 1 x 8-pin PCI-E power connections. Suitable for connecting PCIe Cards from NVIDIA and ATI with an older Power Supply which does not have 6-pin PCIe Connector.

This Cable will provide up to 2 x 36Watts Watts via the 2 x Molex connectors to 8pin and will draw up to 75 Watt from the PCI Express x16 Slot. THIS IS NOT THE CASE WHEN USING A PCIe Riser and Cable will only provide 72 Watts via the Molex connector and another maximum of 30 watts via the riser SATA or Molex connector on a PCIe riser before it will run too hot.
